Extreme heat continues

Heat and humidity will continue to be an issue for the entire viewing area through Sunday and into next week. Highs on Sunday will be well into the 90s.

The dew point will be extremely high on Sunday. Lots of upper 70s and lower 80s expected.

With the heat and humidity in place, the heat index will be well into the 100s on Sunday.

Excessive Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories are in place, but will come down overnight. We will likely see them again on Sunday.

We start the day warm, and warm up quickly.

We get into the triple digits for a heat index before noon!

There is no relief in the 7 day forecast, either.
