Freeze Warning into AM Tuesday, then a brief warm up

Tuesday and Wednesday continue the trend of mostly sunny skies but chilly temperatures. A Freeze Warning is in effect after midnight Monday until the AM hours of Tuesday. We will see a quick warm up into the 60s, with a chance for rain Thursday.

Many in the FOX23 viewing area will be waking up to temperatures below freezing starting Tuesday morning. Wind gusts up to 20 mph will add for an extra chill, so be sure to bundle up when heading outside.

A Freeze Warning is in effect until the AM hours on Tuesday. Parts of southeast Missouri and northwestern Tennessee are in that warning. One concern with the frost and freeze is the impact on plants and pipes.

Although the skies are looking clear, Tuesday’s temperatures struggle to reach the upper 40s throughout the day.

Mostly sunny skies continuing Tuesday and Wednesday, so are those chilly temperatures. Thursday temperatures expected to reach the 60s before cooling down into the weekend. A possible chance for rain Thursday and St, Patrick’s Day, then drying up for the weekend into the first day of spring on Monday.
