Heat and humidity lingers
An Extreme Heat Warning and Heat Advisory is in place through Thursday and may be expanded into the weekend. Heat and humidity will be very high for the next several days.
Take time to know the signs of Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke.
Early morning temperatures will be very warm. Lows will drop into the middle 70s early each morning.
Afternoon highs will climb into the middle and upper 90s.
Add in a dew point in the middle and upper 70s, and it makes the heat even worse.
Triple digits are expected for the heat index.
The heat continues all the way through the weekend and into next week. Storms won’t be numerous, but there’s a chance Thursday and Sunday.
