Heat and Humidity Sticks Around (7/19/22)
Our average this time of year is in the upper 80s and we’re going to be well above that for the next several days. Highs on Wednesday will try to get into the triple digits.
Along with the very high temperatures, we will see quite a bit of humidity. The dewpoint will likely be in the upper 60s to lower and middle 70s.
Because of the humidity, the heat index will be very unpleasant.
The heat and humidity will give us a good chance at seeing quite a few mosquitoes, but the lack of rain lately keeps us from going all the way into the “ugh” category.
Heading through the weekend and into next week, there isn’t a whole lot of relief from the heat. Highs will be in the middle and upper 90s and possibly a few 100s with mainly dry conditions. The next best chance for rain waits until next week.
