Heat continues
The heat is going to continue for at least one more day then it slowly cools down through the rest of the week. Storm chances will be sparse this week.
The Extreme Heat Warning continues through Tuesday evening. The heat index will reach for 115 degrees in the afternoon.
Actual temperatures will be well above average on Tuesday. Highs will try for the upper 90s.
The dew point will push into the middle 70s, even a few upper 70s for some. Very humid!
The heat index will be in the 105 to 115 degree range, especially in the afternoon.
Most of the day will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy, but storms will try to push into SE Missouri Tuesday evening. The severe weather threat is small.
