Heat Continues (5/11/22)

Kbsi Forecast

We are going to see at least one more hot day this week, then it starts to slowly cool off as we head into the weekend. It’s still going to be warm, but the excessive heat will ease off a little.

On Thursday, we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds and there is a small chance that a pop up thunderstorm may happen in the afternoon. Temperatures will once again be in the upper 80s and lower 90s, dewpoints will be in the 70s, and the heat index will try for 100 degrees.

On Friday, we cool off a little bit with highs in the middle 80s, but the humidity is going to stick around for the day. There will be another small chance at some thunderstorms, with the better chance in the afternoon. The wind will be light.

For the weekend, scattered showers and storms will be possible on and off. Temperatures will be in the middle 80s, but the dewpoint relaxes somewhat and will only be in the 60s. It’ll feel more like May this weekend!
