Heat continues, storms possible
Heat will be the main concern through the week into the weekend. Storms are possible, but will be spotty.
There is an Extreme Heat Warning for parts of our area (in pink) through Saturday. The rest of us have the Heat Advisory. It’ll be a little hotter in the Extreme Heat Warning area, but overall, it’s going to be hot for everyone.
Temperatures will be well above average on Thursday. Lots of upper 90s.
The humidity isn’t letting up, either. Dew points continue to be in the mid to upper 70s.
The heat index will be pushing up into the 110 degree range. Possibly a little hotter for some.
Storms are possible on Thursday, but would be very isolated in nature.
We’ll all be in the Extreme Heat Warning Thursday through the weekend. The heat index may get higher than 110 degrees each afternoon.
