Heat stick around a few more days
The heat is still here and it’s not going away for a few days. Storm chances move in the second half of the week, then it’ll be much cooler by Friday.
We’ll see highs in the 90s again on Tuesday. The average high is 20 degree cooler than this.
The dew point will actually be closer to our average high, that’s how warm it’ll be!
The heat index will be close to triple digits Tuesday afternoon.
Cooler air will start to move in after this line of storms move through the area. It’ll still be above average, though.
The severe weather threat should stay to our west on Wednesday.
Storms likely on Wednesday, then possible on Thursday. After that, the cooler air will flow in!
