Heat Warnings Continue (6/14/22)

Kbsi Heat Warning

Excessive Heat Warnings have expanded a little further west and continue through Wednesday. Heat indices in the 100-110 degree range are expected with actual high temperatures near 100 and overnight low temperatures near 80. Those that are not in the Excessive Heat Warning (in pink) are in the Heat Advisory (in orange).

Record highs are possible. Below is a list of the current record highs.

Kbsi Record Highs

The intense heat is expected to continue through the end of the week with highs in the upper 90s and lows in the middle and upper 70s to around 80 degrees. Some relief will come our way by the weekend, with high dropping into the lower 90s, but even that is still above average. This will be short lived, however, with highs once again in the upper 90s expected early next week.

Precipitation chances continue to be nonexistent. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies can be expected for the next several days.
