Heat wave continues
The heat is going to continue for several more days. Lots of sunshine expected all the way through the weekend, as well.
An Extreme Heat Warning is in place for most of our area through Sunday. The heat index will try to reach 115 degrees each afternoon.
Actual high temperatures will be in the upper 90s to around 100. That’s 10 degrees above average.
The dew point will be in the middle 70s each day, so it will be very humid, as well.
The heat index will be dangerously high, ranging from 105 to 115 each afternoon.
