Heavy rain is likely once again today for all of us. Flood Watches continues through Sunday morning.

Heavy rain has already been an issue and more is on the way. Flash Flood Warnings are in place for much of our area Saturday.

An additional 2-5″ of rain is possible through Saturday into Sunday morning.

Along with the heavy rain, severe storms are possible to our south. A level 1, 2, and 3 risk for severe weather is in place for our southern counties. A level 4 “Moderate Risk” is in place for western Tennessee into Arkansas and Mississippi.

Tornadoes are possible today, especially the further south you go. The area highlighted in red and yellow may see EF-2 size or bigger tornadoes.

Large hail is a possibility for a good portion of our area.

Damaging wind is also a threat with storms today, especially in the purple shaded area. 75+ mph wind gusts are possible in the area with the black dash lines.
