Highs Near Average, Daily Isolated Storm Chances
Forecast:
High temperatures on Wednesday will reach the middle and upper 80s with a breeze out of the west at 5 to 10 miles per hour. We will see partly cloudy skies and chances for an isolated shower or thunderstorm through the evening hours.
Low temperatures tonight will remain near average in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Areas of patch fog will be possible during the overnight and morning hours as dew points will remain in the upper 60s and lower 70s overnight.
High temperatures on Thursday will be a couple of degrees above average in the lower 90s. Mostly sunny skies with a calm breeze will be joined by an isolated shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon hours.
Stormcast is currently showing minimal areas of organized storm development. However, localized showers will be possible if the area can gather enough vertical motion for a pop-up storm to form.
For Cape, most of our Thursday morning will be spent in the 80s before creeping into the 90s during the afternoon hours. An isolated shower or two cannot be ruled out during the afternoon.
Isolated storm chances continue for most of the extended forecast. Higher temperatures and humidity levels will push heat indices on Friday and Saturday to around 100 degrees. Isolated storms are possible for much of next week, although forecast confidence remains low at this time.
