Hot and humid all week

Heat and humidity will be front and center all week. Storm chances are small, but a couple of isolated storms are possible later in the week.

A HEAT ADVISORY is in place all week, through Friday, September 4th. The heat index will try for 110 degrees each afternoon while overnight lows only fall into the mid 70s.

For Tuesday, the afternoon high temperatures will be well into the 90s, maybe a few 100s.

The dew point won’t be incredibly high, but it’ll be in the low 70s. That’s enough to create a high heat index.

We’re looking at 100 to 110 degrees for a heat index on Tuesday.
