Heat Advisory:

A Heat Advisory is in effect starting Saturday afternoon and continuing into Tuesday evening. Heat index values will rise to above 100 degrees, especially during the late afternoon hours. Drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks when spending extended amounts of time outside.

Forecast low temperatures tonight will be well above average. The coolest most of us will get is the mid-to-upper 70s.

Highs on Saturday will be hot and humid, with the heat indices well into the triple digits.

The extended forecast remains clear of rain for the moment. The heat continues throughout much of the next week, with isolated storm chances attempting to make their way into the forecast after the middle of next week.
