Hot into next week
The heat is here and it’s going to stick around through the first part of the week. Storm chances linger into the weekend.
A HEAT ADVISORY is in place for much of the KBSI viewing area Saturday through Tuesday. The heat index will climb into the 100-105 range each afternoon.
Actual high temperatures over the weekend will be in the low to mid 90s. A little above average.
Most of the area will be around 92 or 93 for a high on Saturday.
As usual, the dew point will be high.
With temperatures in the 90s and dew points in the 70s, the heat index will climb into the triple digits.
Spot storms will be possible again Saturday afternoon.
There is a chance for severe storms to our east, but the storms around here are not expected to be severe.
