HOT Wednesday With Evening Severe Storms
One more HOT summer like day across the south, with afternoon feels-like temperatures peaking near 104-112 degrees. Temperatures will reach the upper 90s & triple digits with dew points in the 60s & 70s! A cold front moves through Thursday afternoon & evening bringing some relief!

3-5pm Wednesday: A line of showers & T-storms will move SE through Missouri, S Illinois & W Kentucky carrying winds up to 60-65+ mph, small hail & heavy rain. Paducah could see the bulk of any severe weather this afternoon.
6-9pm Wednesday: Storms move south, carrying occasional winds 45-55 mph and heavy rain.
Thursday morning, temperatures will be quite mild ahead of the cold front! Morning temperatures in the 70s for most.
Thursday afternoon & evening the damaging wind threat shifts southward a bit. Main concerns will be 60+ mph winds, small hail & heavy rain.
A few strong to severe storms will be possible by Thursday afternoon & evening. Changes may occur depending on what happens this evening. Stay tuned.
