HOT With Spot Storms Tuesday

A hot and muggy Tuesday is ahead, with afternoon feels-like temperatures peaking into the mid to upper 90s.

High temperatures Tuesday afternoon warming up into the upper 80s/low 90s under mostly sunny skies & a northeast breeze 5-15 mph.

4-9pm: A few pop up showers & thunderstorms will be possible south of Cape Girardeau. No severe weather is expected.

Wednesday morning, temperatures will sit right at that average low of 70 degrees for much of us.

3-9pm Wednesday: Our daily afternoon popcorn showers will develop mainly across SE Missouri. A few heavy downpours & gusty winds will be possible with a few thunderstorms.

48 hour rain potential looks to be minimal. Some spots could see a quick 0.25″-0.50″+ through Wednesday night.
