Last Warm Day Before Blustery Air Returns
A MARGINAL RISK for severe weather is in place Sunday evening. This is due to the damaging wind potential as winds could exceed 60+ mph once the front passes through.
As the cold front moves across the area, a line of showers and thunderstorms will be possible. After the cold front rolls through, a few snow showers will be possible on the back end further north and northeast.
STRONG SW winds will be gusting to around 30-40 mph all day Sunday. These strong winds will feed us warm and moist air for storm development by the evening time.
Sunday will be our last WARM and mild day. The strong cold front will move in Sunday evening near 5-6pm.
This cold front Sunday evening takes away all of our warmth for quite sometime! Temperatures remain chilly in the 30s and 40s going into the New Year. A small warm up with rain chances next weekend.
