Light mixed precipitation potential Thursday
Some light rain and freezing rain will be possible for parts of the viewing area Thursday. Temperatures will be warmer Thursday, but cold air will return Friday.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for parts of our viewing area.
Precipitation during the day is expected to be light, but freezing rain is possible, so any amount would make travel difficult.
The best chance for that light freezing mix is around noon. Most of our area will remain cloudy, but spotty freezing drizzle or rain is possible.
If you’re looking for snow, the better chance for that, according to the Woods Basement System Watching Winter forecast, is well to our north through the next few days!
After temperatures in the 30s on Thursday, we cool down for a couple of days. We then warm up next week, but more precipitation is possible!
