Lots of heat this week
Heat and humidity will be the main concern this week, but a few showers and storms are also possible.
A Heat Advisory is in place for the entire viewing area through Thursday. The heat index will be in the 110 range in the afternoons.
Actual temperatures will be in the middle 90s for highs. That’s several degrees above average.
The dew point will be in the middle 70s, so there will be plenty of humidity around.
The heat index will range from 100 to 110 Wednesday afternoon. That’s hot!
Storms are possible Wednesday evening, but the bulk of the rain will be further east.
