Another cooler evening ahead throughout the heartland with low temperatures dropping into the 40s across our viewing area. Mostly clear skies with winds out of the north-northeast.
A cool start to the work week on Monday, but temperatures will rebound into the lower 60s by the end of the Monday morning commute.
In Cape, a jacket will be needed as your head out the door, but pleasant temperatures hit our area by the lunch hour. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 70s with winds out of the east between 5 and 10 miles per hour.
High temperatures across the heartland will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s on Monday with mostly sunny skies.
A few fair-weather clouds will be possible tomorrow afternoon, but Stormcast keeps us dry for the start of this week.
Dew points will begin to rise early this week as winds shift to be out of the south, bringing heat and humidity back to the region.
Temperatures return to near-average for Tuesday in the lower 80s with mostly sunny skies. High temperatures begin to climb into the 90s on Wednesday, with the peak of the latest round of heat arriving on Thursday and Friday. Mostly sunny skies continue through next weekend, with no significant rain chances on the horizon.
