Mild Temperatures Continue Thursday
Forecast:
High temperatures across the Heartland remained below average once again on Wednesday with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
Low temperatures tonight will drop into the upper 50s with mostly cloudy skies and a light breeze.
Forecast high temperatures on Thursday remain well below average in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Partly sunny skies for tomorrow as winds remain light and variable.
For Cape Girardeau, temperatures will start in the 60s for the morning commute before topping out in the lower 80s by Thursday afternoon. Light winds once again with partly sunny skies.
Stormcast shows the closet chance at rain coming around noon on Thursday, with showers remaining well out of our viewing area.
Drier conditions continue as well for the week ahead with dew points remaining below 70 degrees through the holiday weekend.
Mild temperatures continue in the lower 80s before near-average temperatures return for the weekend. Mostly sunny skies ahead for Labor Day weekend, with near-average temperatures continue through the middle portions of next week.
