Mild through Saturday, storm chances

We’ll be dry for most of Friday, but showers and storms will start to move in Friday night and will stick around for parts of Saturday. Temperatures will be mild through Saturday and in the 60s. We cool off quite a bit by Sunday.

We’ll start the day in the lower 40s, then quickly warm into the 50s later in the morning. We’ll eventually top out around 60 wit some rain chances moving in by late afternoon.

We probably could have been even warmer than the forecast highs above, but cloud cover and rain chances will keep that from happening. Still, 60 is 12 degrees above average.

The chance for a couple of strong to severe storms will stay to our west on Friday, but that chance does move east for Saturday.

The best chance for strong to severe weather will be to our south in the yellow “Slight Risk” in western Tennessee and areas south. Some our our area is in the level 1 green “Marginal Risk”. One or two strong storms are possible in this area.
