Mix possible heading into the end of the week

There is a small chance for a scattered rain and snow mix heading into Friday. Some models show the winter storm system hovering mainly over parts east of the Mississippi.

Although Thursday brings a chance for a possible mix, our next best chance for widespread precipitation is going to be Thursday overnight into Friday.

There is a small chance for mixed precipitation on Thursday, otherwise mostly cloudy skies are likely across the viewing area. Highs will be just below normal in the lower 40s.

The end of the week will bring a chance for mixed precipitation, we dry up heading into the weekend. We will see lots of sunshine heading into the New Year on Monday.
