Monday Morning Storms, Dry by Tuesday
An isolated strong to severe storm will be possible once again on Monday morning across the viewing area. A Marginal Risk (Level 1 out of 5) of severe weather is in place, with large hail and damaging winds the main concerns in the strongest storms.

Above is the latest run of StormCast, which shows storm chances wrapping up for the bulk of the viewing area by lunchtime. A stray storm or two may be possible during the afternoon.
Low temperatures tonight will be mild for early June, with many of us only falling to the middle and upper 60s.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely during the overnight hours for Cape Girardeau and will continue through the morning commute.
Highs on Monday will be close to average for the first day of meteorological summer, with afternoon temperatures in the 80s.
Our chances for storms on Monday will wrap up around noon in Cape, followed by overcast skies for the remainder of the day.
High temperatures will be fairly consistent for the week ahead. Dry air moves into the Heartland on Tuesday and should give us a fair amount of sunshine for the work week. Chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase heading into the weekend.
