Mostly Cloudy, Breezy, and Cold for Sunday
High temperatures were pleasant across the Heartland today with many of us reaching the lower 70s.
Going forward, temperatures remain in the 50s until after midnight. Expect Sunday morning temperatures to start off in the lower 40s.
Forecast lows tonight will be near average in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Strong winds out of the northeast will gust close to 25 miles per hour.
Mostly cloudy skies in Cape Girardeau with lows dropping to the lower 40s. Breezy conditions are expected throughout the overnight hours.
Stormcast shows the chance for a shower or two throughout the day on Sunday, and the possibility of a flurry late Sunday. It will be hard for any snow to reach the ground before turning back into liquid precipitation, no accumulation is expected.
High temperatures tomorrow will be a complete turnaround from what we saw on Saturday. Many of us only reaching the lower to middle 40s.
Our high in Cape Girardeau on Sunday will likely come during the morning hours, with highs in the lower 40s. Temperatures then dropping to the 30s tomorrow afternoon under mostly cloudy skies.
Another chilly day ahead on Monday before temperatures slowly climb starting on Veteran’s Day. We return to the 60s by the middle of the week with mostly sunny skies, potentially reaching the 70s by next weekend.
