A pleasant fall afternoon across the Heartland for the rest of Thursday, with temperatures remaining in the 50s until after dinner time this evening.
No precipitation in the forecast for the rest of the work week. Mostly sunny skies for all except for a few passing clouds. Our next best rain chances hold off until Saturday.
A Frost Advisory is in place until 9 a.m. CDT on Friday. Overnight low temperatures will be close to freezing off to our west.
Patchy areas of frost will be possible early Friday morning with overnight lows falling into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Mostly clear skies tonight for a chilly evening ahead in Cape Girardeau. Our low this evening will be in the upper 30s, joined by a light breeze.
High temperatures on Friday will be just above average for late October across much of our area. Mostly sunny skies continue with a west-northwesterly wind.
Our Halloween forecast in Cape Girardeau shows highs in the lower 60s with mostly sunny skies. Partly cloudy conditions are expected Friday night with temperatures dropping into the 40s before midnight.
Temperatures will take a dip on Saturday into the 50s, bringing a chance for rain before we look to dry out for much of the next week ahead. Temperatures climb back up into the middle and upper 60s, where we briefly jump above average during the middle of next week.
