Mostly Sunny, Warmer Temperatures on Wednesday
Forecast:
Temperatures will be a couple of degrees above average on Wednesday across the Heartland, with high temperatures in the upper 80s. Mostly sunny skies for the rest of the day with winds out of the west-southwest between 5 and 10 miles per hour.
Low temperatures tonight remain above average in the upper 50s and lower 60s. A far cry from the mid-40s we saw on Tuesday morning, with mostly clear skies joined by light and variable winds.
Expect a smooth commute on Thursday morning with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures range from the mid-60s to the mid-70s throughout the morning.
Another sunny day on Thursday for Cape with high temperatures returning to the 90s. Winds will remain light throughout the day with increased levels of humidity.
High temperatures across the Heartland will reach the lower 90s on Thursday. Mostly sunny skies with winds remaining light and variable.
Dew points continue to hover around 70 degrees for the week ahead. Increased humidity with warming temperatures will make for a few days of uncomfortable heat indices starting this weekend.
While sunshine is expected to stick around for the rest of the forecast, temperatures will continue to climb heading into this weekend. Highs remain in the lower 90s for the rest of this week, before reaching the middle 90s this weekend and into early next week.
