NWS issues hazardous weather outlook Monday, Oct. 11
PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – The National Weather Service of Paducah issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri on Oct. 11
NWS predicts a band of showers and thunderstorms will enter southeast Missouri Monday morning reaching sections of southern Illinois and western Kentucky by midday.
There is a marginal to slight risk of severe storms with locally damaging winds most likely. A few showers may be strong to locally severe. Damaging
wind appears to be the primary hazard. A brief, low end tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
The activity will end quickly by early Monday evening, with dry weather the rest of the night into Tuesday.
