Partly Cloudy, Cooler for Thursday
Partly cloudy skies continue for the rest of Wednesday. Temperatures continue to drop as winds out of the northwest persist into the overnight hours.
Stormcast shows building cloud cover through the overnight hours, with partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies for Thursday. Our farthest northern and northeastern counties will have a chance at a few flurries late Thursday.
Lows tonight in the middle to upper 20s with northwesterly winds.
Partly cloudy skies tonight for Cape Girardeau with overnight temperatures dropping to the mid-20s.
We remain below average on Thursday with temperatures in the 40s. Colder air just off to our northeast could bring in a few upper 30s as well.
A fair amount of cloud cover tomorrow in Cape as we spend much of the morning in the 30s. A few rays of sunshine try and poke through during the afternoon, with our highs in the lower 40s.
Close to 50 on Friday before temperatures plummet during the weekend. Sunday looks to be the coldest day with highs in the mid-20s and overnight lows in the teens. Temperatures do look to recover by next week, back into the 30s and 40s.
