Partly Sunny, Brief Showers for Saturday
Variable cloud cover is expected for the start of the weekend across the Heartland. Even with some cloud cover, we are expecting a warm early June day for the viewing area.

Low tonight will be mild in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected Friday evening into Saturday morning in Cape Girardeau.
Another warm June day is on the way for the start of the weekend, as high temperatures climb to the middle and upper 80s.
Hopefully, we will see a little bit of sun in Cape on Saturday afternoon, though we will be dodging cloud cover and a chance for a quick shower.
Storm chances increase for the weekend ahead as temperatures will be on the rise for the upcoming work week. We will continue to monitor the potential for severe weather and excessive heat.
