Forecast:

Temperatures will be well below average to start the work week with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Below average temperatures continue through this upcoming week before we could see small chances of showers and thunderstorms before next weekend.

Temperatures today will reach the middle and upper 80s in Cape with mostly sunny skies. We will also see a nice breeze out of the north between 5 and 10 miles per hour.

Low temperatures tonight in the Heartland drop to the lower and middle 60s. Partly cloudy skies and winds out of the north between 5 and 10 miles per hour.

High temperatures on Sunday will reach the lower to middle 80s with mostly sunny skies. Winds shift to be out of the north-northwest between 5 and 10 miles per hour.

In Cape Girardeau, a pleasant Sunday ahead with temperatures a few degrees below average in the middle 80s. Increasing cloud cover throughout the day with a north-northwesterly wind.

Stormcast keeps us free from precipitation for the next couple of days, with some fair weather clouds possible, particularly during the afternoon and evening.
