Quiet and warm Friday, storms Sunday

Friday and daytime on Saturday will be dry and warm. Temperatures will reach the lower to mid-90s. Storm chances arrive overnight Saturday into Sunday. Strong to severe storms are possible throughout Father’s Day. Widespread rain, damaging wind speeds and large hail are the biggest threats. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The Storm Alert team will continue to monitor these storms very closely.

Storm chances continue into the start of our next work week. After a brief cool down on Sunday temperatures will warm back into the 90s and upper 80s later in the week.
