Quiet for a day
The chance for showers and storms takes a day off Tuesday, but the chance comes right back on Wednesday. The chance for more rain will be on and off after that all the way through the weekend.
Tuesday will be quiet and relatively mild by August standards. We may see some patchy fog early, but that will eventually burn off by the afternoon.
The middle 80s will be commonplace across our viewing area. We’re typically near 90 this time of year!
The storm threat comes back in a hurry, though. Strong storms will be possible Wednesday afternoon.
Because of that storm threat, our entire area is in a Slight Risk for severe storms on Wednesday. Large hail and damaging wind will be possible.
With the added rain chance, the Skeeter Meter gets back to high Wednesday and Thursday.
There are lots of rain chances over the next several days, but the highs will all be at or below average!
