Quiet into the weekend
We take a break from the chance for storms for a while. The next several days will slowly warm up with mostly to partly cloudy skies.
Two reports of tornadoes (above) Wednesday, April 5, 2023. On just west of Cape Girardeau in Glenallen (Bollinger county) in SE Missouri and one in Aurora (Trigg county) in Kentucky.
Many areas saw a half of an inch to around an inch of rain Wednesday. A line of stronger storms rolled through NE Arkansas, into SE Missouri and southern Illinois. Heavier amounts were seen in these areas.
It’s going to be a little cool on Thursday. We’ll see temperatures start in the lower 40s then try for the upper 50s. We’ll see plenty of cloud cover all day.
It doesn’t look like anybody will make it to 60 Thursday. Our average high is 66!
We do eventually warm up as we head through the weekend and into next week. Middle and upper 70s expected Monday through Wednesday.
It’s going to be dry for a while. The 6-10 day Servpro Precipitation Outlook has us below normal!
