Quiet Monday, storms Tuesday
A quiet and mild day is expected to start the work week. Temperatures start out right around the freezing mark, then warm to around 50 by noon.
By the afternoon, most of us will be in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees. This is a few degrees above average.
On Tuesday, storms will become possible. Severe storms are possible, as well. Below is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing and duration.
The Storm Prediction Center has on the northern edge of a Marginal to Slight Risk for severe weather. Hail, damaging wind, and isolated tornadoes will be possible.
The better chance for severe storms will be to our south, where there’s an Enhanced Risk in place.
After Tuesday, we quiet back down with another chance for rain headed our way Friday into Saturday.
