Quiet through Wednesday, then winter shows up (12/19/22)
It’s going to be right around normal for temperatures the next three days with highs in the lower and middle 40s. However, a potent winter storm is headed our way and will reach us by Thursday. It’s going to give us a chance for snow and MUCH colder temperatures. The wind will also be picking up which means the wind chill will likely be below zero for quite a while. We start to warm up on Sunday (Christmas!), but will still be well below average.
For Tuesday, we’re looking at a pretty decent December day. Highs will be in the middle 40s with partly cloudy skies and a light north breeze.
Most of the KBSI viewing area is looking quiet on Tuesday, as well. It’ll be a little cooler to the north, but overall we’ll be pretty close to normal for temperatures.
Fast forward to Thursday and we’re going to see rain changing to snow Thursday afternoon and it may last into very early Friday morning. Some accumulating snow will be possible Thursday evening. This will be followed by very cold temperatures and a gusty north wind.
