Rain and snow likely through Tuesday into Wednesday
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in place for portions of our viewing area Monday night into Tuesday. Minor snow accumulation is possible in this area.
Below is a video of our StormCast weather model showing timing, location, and duration of the rain and snow.
That rain snow mix is possible Monday night through the first half of the day Tuesday with a trace to 2″ of snow possible, especially further north.
There is a very good chance for some heavy rain through Tuesday, as well.
The chance that we’ll see rain or if we’ll see snow will be determined by the temperature. We’ll be hovering at or above the freezing mark, so rain is more likely for the Cape area.
More rain is likely on Wednesday, as well, then dry for a day. More rain is possible Friday into Saturday with some snow north also possible.
