Rain chances with a warm end to 2024
Well above average for high temperatures are expected on Thursday. We’ll see quite a few clouds with some showers on and off. The heavier rain comes later in the evening.
StormCast (below) shows how we’ll see rain showers on and off, but the heavier rain starts to move in just before midnight.
Rainfall totals after this system moves through late Thursday into Friday could be significant. 1″ to 1.5″ of rain is possible for many of us by 7am Friday.
The rain starts to taper off but scattered showers will remain possible through Saturday. The second half of the weekend looks dry and the entire weekend will be warm.
