Rain ending early Sunday as we spring ahead one hour (3/11/23)

A reminder that Daylight Saving Time will happen Saturday night, leading into the start of Sunday. If you want to be on time Sunday and beyond, clocks will need to be set forward an hour ahead tonight. The good news: even though we lose an hour of sleep, we will be gaining an hour of sunlight. From here on out into the summer, the sun will set later than 7:00 p.m.

If you are looking for warm temperatures again like we saw earlier in the week, they are not coming back anytime soon. Temperatures the past few days have either been hovering in the lower 50s or the upper 40s, and Sunday looks to be no different. Highs across our region reflect the same pattern we have been seeing the past few days.

A look into the 7-day forecast shows what we’re talking about: the below-normal stretch continues through at least Tuesday. By Wednesday, we creep back to normal before becoming much warmer ahead of more rain chances by Thursday.
