Rainy start to the week brings flooding concerns
Storms and showers will continue all throughout Tuesday afternoon. Localized flash flooding will be a concern across parts of Kentucky through Tuesday. Wednesday begins our stretch of Fall like weather with temperatures in the 70s under sunny skies.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue through Tuesday afternoon across parts of Illinois and Kentucky. By Wednesday, we all dry out and can enjoy the sun and cooler temperatures!
There will be areas of flash flooding through Tuesday afternoon, especially in parts of Kentucky. Rain totals could range from 1.00″-2.00″+. Make sure to be cautious when heading to and from work on country roads that could flood easy.
Tuesday morning will be the last warm and mild morning!Temperatures will remain well above average in the 60s and maybe even a few 70s.
Tuesday afternoon, the cold front will move through bringing temperatures down into the 70s across the region. The air will feel much more refreshing and brisk starting Wednesday!
