Remaining warm, storms over the weekend
We will hang on to the warm temperatures for the next couple of days. However, a cold front is going to move though Saturday and that will give us storm chances Saturday evening and cooler temperatures by Sunday. We’ll warm back up as next week progresses.
Highs of Friday will be above average once again. Highs will be in the upper 70s, we should be in the upper 60s.
Saturday will be warm, as well, but a cold front is looming. That will bring a thunderstorm chance Saturday night.
Storms start to roll in early Saturday evening.
By 8:00pm Saturday evening, we start to see the strong storms moving through.
By 10:00pm, strong storms are here and should be through our area by just after midnight.
Because of these storms, there is a Marginal and Slight Risk for severe weather. Hail and damaging wind will be the main concerns.
High temperatures will be near 60 on Sunday and the upper 60s by Monday. The 70s come back Tuesday and beyond.
