Average storm total rainfall is forecast to be 1 to 2+ inches through Monday morning, but locally higher amounts are possible, especially across SE Missouri. Severe storms will be possible.

Storm total rainfall through Monday morning may exceed 2 inches in the SEMO Ozarks, which heightens the risk of localized flooding.

There is a MARGINAL risk for excessive rainfall through Monday. Some rain showers and storms could have heavy downpours, which could drop an inch or more of rain an hour. Flooding will be likely in parts of SE Missouri through this weekend. Remember, TURN AROUND AND DON’T DROWN.
