There is a 10% chance for a tornado with these storms. The black lines indicate a 10% or greater probability of EF2 – EF5 tornadoes.
Damaging wind will likely be the most abundant part of the severe storms Friday night. There is a 45% chance for severe wind with a 10% or greater probability (where you see black lines) of wind gusts 75 mph or greater.
Large hail is also a concern. We have a 30% chance of severe hail and where the black lines are at has a 10% or greater probability of two inch diameter hail or larger.
Most of the day will be dry but windy. The chance for storms moves in after 6:00pm Friday.
