Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 1:00am Monday

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Butler, Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Scott and Stoddard counties in Missouri. Lake, Obion and Weakley Counties in Tennessee are also included in the Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 1:00am Monday. Western Kentucky as well as Alexander, Hardin, Massac, Pope and Pulaski counties in Illinois are included in the watch.

The biggest threats will be strong to severe thunderstorms, strong wind speeds and large hail up to 2 inches in size are possible. Although the threats are low an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The Storm Alert Team is continuing to monitor these storms as they pass through.
