Severe weather and flooding concerns through Wednesday
Tuesday, there is a SLIGHT risk for parts of Arkansas and a MARGINAL risk from Cape Girardeau–>south. Main concerns will be 60 mph winds, small hail and flooding. Timing for strongest storms will be from 9am-10pm.

Wednesday, there is a MARGINAL risk is in place from Cape Girardeau–> east. Main threats will be gusty winds and small hail.
Through Wednesday morning, rain totals could range from 0.75″- 1.50″+. There will and has already been areas of FLASH FLOODING with these rain showers and thunderstorms. The best chance to see the most rain and flooding concerns will be widespread across the Bootheels.
Tuesday morning will be another well above average one! Temperatures will reach the low to upper 60s and some lower 70s farther south.

Monday evening, showers and thunderstorms will become widespread across the region. Storms and showers will continue through Wednesday evening.
