Severe weather possible Wednesday, heavy rain also likely
Tuesday will be a quiet day, but it’s the last quiet day for quite a while. Flood Watches are in place with significant rain possible. Scroll down to see that information.
After starting the day in the 30s, most of us will get to or just above average.
On Wednesday, the heat gets cranked up and so does the wind. Wind gusts nearing 40 mph are possible.
There is a level 3 “Enhanced Risk” for severe weather on Wednesday. Storms are expected to start moving in late afternoon and last into the evening hours.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is saying for the timing and duration of the storm. Hail, damaging wind, and tornadoes will be possible with these storms.
Heavy rain is also possible through Wednesday night. 1-2″ of rain is possible.
Several more rounds of rain are possible Thursday and Friday, as well. INCHES of rain are possible.
We may see more rain into the weekend. Significant flooding is a concern. A FLOOD WATCH is in place through Sunday.
