A line of storms will be moving from north to south this afternoon. Hail and damaging wind are the main concerns.

DAMAGING WIND POTENTIAL: 

Parts of our area may see damaging wind this afternoon, especially the further east you go. Not everybody will see very strong winds, but the storms that can get severe will see very gusty winds. 

WIND POTENTIAL: 
Brown shaded area: Up to 60 mph 
Yellow shaded area: Up to 70 mph 
Red shaded area: 70-75+ mph
Pink shaded area: 70-80+ mph 

LARGE HAIL POTENTIAL: 

Parts of our area may see some large hail this evening and overnight. Not everybody will see the large hail, but the storms that can get strong to severe will have hail in them.  

HAIL POTENTIAL:
⛈️Brown shaded area: Up to 1″ hail 
⛈️⛈️Yellow shaded area: Up to golf ball size hail

TORNADO POTENTIAL:

Areas to our east may see a quick spin-up tornado this evening into the overnight. A “2-5%” risk doesn’t sound high, but it’s not zero. This usually means one or two spin-up tornadoes are possible in this area

TORNADO POTENTIAL: 
️Green shaded area: Quick spin ups, short lived, EF0-1
️️Brown shaded area: Spin ups, a little longer lived, EF0-2
