Severe weather threat into Friday
As we move into Friday, there is a MODERATE RISK for severe storms across much of our area.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential.
Large, long track tornadoes will be possible as the day unfolds. The area shaded in yellow below has the highest risk for this to happen.
Large hail is in the forecast, as well, with tennis ball to baseball size hail a possibility, especially in the red shaded area below.
Damaging wind in excess of 75 mph will be an issue, as well. The pink shaded area below has the highest risk for this.
