Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 10:00pm Sunday

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Sunday until 10:00pm. Parts of Missouri, NW Tennessee and western Kentucky are included in the watch. Damaging winds, locally heavy rainfall, and large hail are the biggest threats. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The storm Alert Team will continue tracking the storm system as it passes through our region.

An Enhanced Risk (level 3/5) for Severe Weather is in place through Sunday for parts of the Missouri bootheel and NW Tennessee. A Slight Risk (level 2/5) is in place for parts of SE Missouri, NW Tennessee and western Kentucky. Additionally, a Marginal Risk (level 1/5) is in place for parts of SE Missouri, southern Illinois and western Kentucky. Stay with the Storm Alert Team while we continue to track the activity in our area.
